Nissan just unveiled the first photos of its new limited-edition 370Z that marks 40 years since the original Datsun 240Z hit the street in October 1969. The asking price in 1969? Only $3626 for the base model. The 40th Anniversary Edition Z, is offered as a Coupe Touring model, equipped with a manual transmission and Sport Package. The Sport Package includes front and rear spoilers, Nissan Sport Brakes, 19-in. Rays forged aluminum-alloy wheels, a viscous limited-slip differential and Nissan’s proprietary SynchroRev Match transmission technology.
The 3.7-liter V-6 is unchanged, but what’s unique to the limited edition Z is a special “40thth Anniversary badges and an interior swathed with red leather covering the steering wheel, door panel inserts, shift boot, and special debossed seatbacks.
